Our story
Dr. Bryan Burrows and Dr. Trent Bevans each purchased Abby Dental Care in April 2017, and they still work the chairs, not just the books. The philosophy has not changed since: value-driven treatment through education, quality diagnosis and professionalism, in an office designed to feel comfortable, welcoming and, on a good day with the kids, actually enjoyable.
As part of the 123Dentist network, the clinic offers 0% interest patient financing and accepts the Canadian Dental Care Plan, while staying locally owned and operated.

Co-owner since April 2017. Practiced three years in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta before coming to Vernon. Focused on general and cosmetic dentistry with a special interest in computer-assisted dentistry, which is why the CEREC unit gets a workout.

Joined the practice in 2016 and became co-owner in April 2017. Before dentistry in Vernon, he served as an Army Captain in Cold Lake, Alberta. Special interests in orthodontics and oral surgery.

Grew up in Cawston in southern BC and joined the team after graduating from UBC Dentistry in 2024. Fluent in Punjabi, so patients can be cared for in the language they think in.

A patient favourite for anxious visits. In one recent Google review a patient credits Dr. Latchman with taking them from needing sedation to sitting through a three-hour procedure with only regular freezing.

Hygienists Shannon, Shelby, Kim and Danielle. Dental assistants Kalli, Dani, Maddie, Emberley and Kennedy. Tia coordinating treatment, and Sharon and Kacia at the front desk.
Care available in English, Punjabi and French. Kalli, one of the dental assistants, is fluent in French and English.
New patients are always welcome, and first visits are built to be easy.
